Happy Mother's Day

Ladies and gentlemen, Mother's day will be coming soon. Yeap, this Sunday will be the day that you can say "I Love You" to your dearest mother. I think not everyone will express their love to their mum easily. You can easily say loving words to your partner but not to your mum. Yes, I am one of them.

I love my mum deep in my heart but I don't easily express my feelings to her from my words. And sometimes, I can talk harshly to her that I doubt might hurt her feelings. But she always keep her smiling face to me. I still remember the day she was sent to the surgery room, my heart was bumping really fast. I was sad to see her fear to enter the surgery room and keep asking if I can accompany her to the room. I knew I could not help her much and I just prayed for her. I am scared to lost her in my life. Praise the Lord as he always answer to my prayer. I am glad that mum recover very fast and she even didn't suffer any major pain at all after the surgery.

This year, I am not going to celebrate the day with her but I know she will be happy if I said "I Love You" to her even through the phone. I love you, mum! Do something to your mum to make her happy :)

Happy Mother's Day, baby~
At least your mum will be surprise, if you greet her with this pose. Haha......;)

Lebanon

Time flies! Time flies! We are now in May. I am still feeling that I just celebrated Chinese New Year last month. Maybe I miss my parents too much, keep thinking the good time we had when I was in Sandakan :)

Well, I had a good time last weekend too. We went to Beirut, the city of Lebanon for a weekend getaway. We flew to Beirut on Thursday night and returned on Saturday night. Though we had 2 full days to go around Beirut, we still missed some of the interesting places. We only managed to visit those main attraction places. Anyway, the most important is we did enjoy our trip ;)

Let me start introducing Beirut to you from my pictures. Isn't that will be more interesting rather than lenghty of words?
Mohammad al-Amin mosque in downtown. Once you reach downtown, the first thing that attract your sight will be this mosque. It's like glow in the dark!
Another special that I noticed, there is a church beside the mosque. This church known as The Maronite Cathederal of St.George.
Here is the members of the trip. Picture taken at the downtown, clock tower :)
Souvenier time at the downtown. You can find out that most of the souveniers related to Christianity. You will not feel that you are in a muslim country at all~
The next day, on our way to Jeita Grotto. Nice view can be spotted everywhere!
Our rented car, Renault.
We reached Jeita Grotto. Queued for about 30 minutes for the tickets. No pictures allow in the cave, thus we only took pictures outside the cave.
Jeita Grotto is one of the 28 finalists in a global competition to find the new 7 Wonders of Nature. The most dramatic sight will be the yawning canyons and sink holes.
After Grotto, we continue our trip to the ski centre. Our intention is to see ice rather than ski. As winter was over for a couple of months, we only could see little ice at the mountains.
We found ice at the roadside :) Weather was around 10 celcius.
4 of us made a snow man! I was the camera man.
Next, we went to visit Lady Harissa.
At night, we went to the Casino du Liban. Alberto and hubbie tried their luck in the casino while Meng Chin and I had our supper at the cafe. Hubbie won USD100 from the casino! We went home around 2 am and we spent the whole Saturday visit the main attraction place of Lebanon,Baalbek.
Group photo!
The main attraction, Baalbeck.
I will be flying to Japan next monday. Wait for my updates ;)
