Paris-the Capital of France

We did went to Paris in May 2007. Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. However, you find a litte trouble asking people from the street for directions. The local there only speak French, and their attitude is not that good as well. So whenever you want to ask for directions in Paris, I will suggest you to ask the people working inside the restaurant, most of them can speak English and more friendly. And most of them are Asians too. :)

Eiffel Towel and Champ Elysees.

Not to forget the Louvre Museum as well.

Milan-One of the World Capitals of Design and Fashion

We just spent a day in Milan before we heading back to Turkey in May 2007. Since its was a day trip, we went to the Duomo, Milan's cathedral, one of the largest church in the world. On the right hand side of the church, there is a shopping place called Piazza del Duomo. You can find any branded stuff there.
When we were there, the building was under maintenance. But it's still look great!

You can walk around in Milan and you will find a lot of interesting stuff. I was very tired during that time as you can see I dont even care my messy hair!

Rome-capital of Italy

We went to Rome in May 2007. My experience in Rome was not a good one. To me Rome is a dangerous city. There are many a lot of beggars, picpockets and people in the street looks so devilish~

We rented a room near the train station and the owner did advice to take extra careful when walking around on our own. The MRT and the streets are really dirty. I think Kuala Lumpur is even better. However, those tourist attraction places are definitely clean!

Colosseum and Trevi fountain. We did turn around and threw a coin over our shoulder. I think you could be rich by picking up the coins inside the fountain but make sure you do it in the late midnite when nobody is there!
You can easily find gelato in Rome and is really cheap. We had gelato for at least 3 times a day when we were there :)
Vatican Museum, a place that cannot be missed!
Not to forget, a kiss from me before we go!

Venice-City of Romance

We went to Venice in May 2007. We actually went to a few cities in Italy but this post I would like to talk about Venice only which is always known as city of romance. The city of Venice is simply stunning and completely unique. It is linked by a series of over 150 canals, 400 bridges and many ancient pavements. Venice is without doubt one of the most beautiful and popular cities in the world and is always admired by the many tourists that visit throughout the year.

My travelling experience in Venice was so relaxing as we can walk around the city without taking any public transport coz we just hang around the island for 3 days and 2 nights. To my surprise, my hubby proposed to me when we were taking the gondola ride. This is an unforgetable memory to me. I still hope to revisit Venice again but maybe when we get old. ^_^

Talking about the food, I am expecting to have a good italian food there, but "NoNo". It's really disappointing and we took McDonalds for about 4 to 5 times during our stay in Venice. Anyway, during that time we were trying to save some money on food as our next station will be Paris, where definitely we will spend more either for shopping or food.

Here are some pictures taken in Venice. St. Mark Square is full with pigeons and very annoying. If you ever squad down, the pigeon will step on your head just like the picture below...
And he still smiling happily there -_-'''

This picture taken at the Rialto Bridge. Cool isn't it??

Just a little advice to those who are planning to backpack to Europe, Venice definitely a "must visit" place. You can either take plane or train to Venice. Check out the low cost airline, Ryan Air from time to time as they always have promotion just like our Air Asia. During our time, we were lucky to get those zero ticket from Ryan Air and ended up we saved more coz the price was cheaper than the train tickets and we could reach the destination faster as well. :)

Last Christmas

Christmas is coming soon. I love christmas celebration very much as the streets and malls will be full with red, green, white or even purple decorations. Christmas do give me a feeling of romance! I celebrated my last christmas in Dubai. We had our christmas dinner at the Burj Al Arab famous restaurant namely Al Mahara. It was the most expensive meal i had so far. The food was average but the ambience is really nice and romantic. Before entering to the restaurant, we should be sitting on the sub marine, but too bad it was under maintenance when we went there.

Took a pic at the public beach before the dinner.

 The environment of the restaurant.

1st course, osyter with some mints and herbs.

2nd course, toast bread with the foie gras.

3rd course, Japanese scallop with pumpkin tatin.

Hubby's main course: Roasted Seabass with leek, mussel, cavair and champagne sauce.

My choice of main course: Turkey stuffed with foie gras, "pot au fue" of vegetables and horseradish sauce.

For dessert was a classic fruit cake with brandy and vanila sauce.

Paying time!! Dubai money (Dirham) is almost the same as our Ringgit. So this meal cost hubby for about RM1605!! And you can see that we only had mineral water and it cost about RM 55! Anyway..thanks to darling for the treat and it was such a good experience to me.

What will i have for the coming christmas ^_^?

W.E.L.C.O.M.E

A lot of my friends ask me to blog about my travelling experiences.Previously, I really do not have the time. I have to work from 9am to 6 pm, giving tuition classes at night or attending my CFA classes, really makes me no time for it. When weekend comes, I will be reluntant to stay in front of my laptop and will go out for movies or shopping just to relax myself.

Since i am married on March 2009, i had resigned from my job, leaving Kuala Lumpur and follow my hubby travelling for his job. Most of the time, i will stay at home relaxing myself and do some leisure stuff like reading, surfing, watching TVB series, youtubing or FB-ing. ^_^. Life is just great at the moment!

And with this plenty of leisure time,i think it will be best time to start on my blog! I would love to share my thoughts, travelling experinces, beauty stuff...anything!

Being the first entry, I would like to share my wedding pictures as I am moving to a new chapter of my life. Here I have selected some of my pre-wedding pics follow by actual day wedding pics for viewing..

The little girl is my niece, Cecilia and of course the other two will be my lovely parents. My brother in law need to work so cant make it to my wedding. I do have a brother but he passed away 4 years ago due to car accident. Anyway, he will be always in our hearts though he is not in the picture.

My hubby and I. We have been dated for 9 years before our marriage.

Wedding night in Sandakan, Sabah. Well, both of us are from Sandakan so we can gather both families wedding dinner in one single night. ^_^

The "cheers".

The night before the wedding day, I only slept for 3 hours which was terribly not enough. What to do..cannot fall asleep. Maybe it will be good if i swallow a sleeping pill so that i can have a good rest. Hehe..
