A Reason For Gifts!

I am sure that everyone of us here love to recieve gifts. When we were young, birthday presents was the only thing that we were longing for. And when we reached the teenager stage, we hope to get something during the valentines day! As we grow older and older, there are lots of reasons for a gift. Well, let me list it out:
1) Birthday present
2) Valentines present
3)Mother's day present (If you are a mother)
4)Wedding anniversary present (If you are married)
5)Dating anniversary ( Don't worry, even though you are not married, you still get your gift. For married lady, this is bonus!)
6)Christmas/ new year present
7) Chinese New Year present ( Yeah, if you are a chinese, you may request a present on the chinese people big day or maybe an angpow!)
8) Surprise present ( Ladies can always request to receive surprises from boyfriend or husband, just to make ourselves happy :) at least once a year )

So there you go, so many reasons for a gift. But maybe you will change your mind once you get married. I am thinking, if I continue to request 7 gifts a year, my husband might be bankrupt soon. Let's say for an average gift is about RM2k and that will be RM14k! We can do so much with this RM14K. And this RM14k is not including those trips when we go somewhere for a holidays. Hotel, food and shopping that could cost an average of RM5k at least, and of course depends where we go~ As for our Japan trip next month, the tour cost us about RM15k not including our extention stay in Tokyo.

And now, since I am no longer working, hubbie will be the only bread winner. I feel guilty to buy anything or request something which is not necessary but ladies like to shop!!! This is like a permanent illness with no treatments that can help. I wish I can back to the working society so that at least, I can afford something I like :) The bad thing is, I cant even afford to buy a present to my hubbie's coming birthday. I have money, but those cash are given by my husband. If I use that to buy a present for him, isn't that like he bought himself a present which chosen by me? I think I cook a lovely meal for him will be the best! My dillema solved.

Pregnancy

Today I heard a good news from my friend in FB, that she is pregnant 2 months! I really feel happy for the couple. They just got married last year and soon they will become papa and mummy in 7 months time. They are really lovely and I believe God had sent them the best present ever :) I hope God will continue to bless them and hope the little baby in the womb will grow healthier day by day.

My friend did asked me back when is our turn. Not only her, but everyone around us will ask the same question. Well, I am still waiting for my last hepatitis B injection in June before I am dare to start to concieve. Maybe I read too much, that I am followed the guidiance to have my pre-conception check up before we decided to have a baby. According to the gynae, I need my Hepa B jab and that's why we are still waiting. I just hope my body is healthy enough to carry the gift from God.

I always worry that my body is not strong enough. Maybe it is due to my figure, small and look weak all the time. I had tried to gain weight but nothing much. I always remind myself to eat more, but sometimes just no appetite unless good food is always around :)

Well, anyway..just wish me all the best! " In baby making" after June...haha

Anyway, have you think about the pressure you gonna have after getting pregnant? Well, as far as I know, the mummy might get morning sickness or the mood swings easily. Everyday, need to take a range of healthy food in order to be sufficient provided to the womb. And the body will gain weight day by day that might cause the waist feeling tired. Or even more, some pregannt ladies will encounter hormon inbalance that will cause lots of breakouts. Just imagine the poor mum, that she need to sacrifice a lot just to deliver a baby.

During the labour, definitely in pain and that could last for few hours or up to one day! The mummy need to suffer cuts at the private part.After delivered the baby, some mummy might encounter some problems like hair loss or tooth loss due to insufficient nutrient. All the good nutrients have been given to the womb. Gosh...just feeling scary when I think into details.Well, my purpose not to scare the ladies, but just to remind everyone of us here, including the gentlemen that our mummy is always the greatest of all. Treat them well.

Though I am scare, but I think married women do not have choice but have to bear with the pain at least once in your lifetime. We can only hope for a healthy baby that worth the pain. Good luck ladies!

My 27th Birthday Celebration

This year I celebrated my birthday in Amman, Jordan. Basically, I prefer to celebrate it with more family members, besides merrier but also a time where all of us can gather and have some good food together. We do celebrate birthday every year, and when you get older, you will be afraid to celebrate it as it reminds you that you are older a year Now!

When I was a teenager, I wish something that only benefit to myself and now I wish for everyone who is important in my life and family too. That's the difference and I know I am getting older. Well, everyone gets older year by year and the important is to keep or maintain our health, eat right and exercise more! That's the best remedy to maintain youth!

We had our dinner at Romero restaurant. We had brocolli soup as starter, seafood spaghetti and seafood platter as main course and gelato and softle as dessert. The dessert was free, compliment for my birthday!
My birthday cake with fireworks!
And with normal candles~~

Another good news, we will be flying to Japan for a holiday soon. I have waited for so long. I can't wait to:
see sakuras....
 Mount Fuji....
take pictures with Sumo!
and have delicious sushi, shasimi and lots more....
 Wait for my Japan post!!!

Mummy's Hero

As I mentioned before, my mum been through a surgery early of this month. And now she is fully recover. Thanks to God and her doctor, Dr Stuart Chin from Kota Kinabalu. I feel bless that we still have quality doctor in Borneo.
My mum was not so ready so she look a bit too happy here...Haha

Maybe you will think "how come my mum's hero is not my papa?" Sigh.... they always argue but I think deep in their heart still care to each other. Well, old folks do not know how to express their feelings easily.
This picture was taken few years ago at our old house. Now only I realise, that they do not take any pictures together for long.

They will only know to miss each other when one of them went travelling. :)

1st Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 1st wedding anniversary, but we cant celebrate it together as we are in different parts of world now. I had received my pressie for the anniversary during the Chinese New Year so no more pressie or surprise from hubbie :(

Actually I had forgot about it until he gave me a call this morning! So I think that's a good surprise too. Time really flying extremely fast. We are hoping for a baby next year and hope this dream will come true with the love and care blessing from our mighty GOD :)

I don't have any pressie for my hubbie too, but I found this peom which can voice out my love to you.

Reasons Why
Our love is the long lasting kind;
We’ve been together quite awhile.
I love you for so many things,
Your voice, your touch, your kiss, your smile.
You accept me as I am;
I can relax and just be me.
Even when my quirks come out,
You think they’re cute; you let me be.
With you, there’s nothing to resist;
You’re irresistible to me.
I’m drawn to you in total trust;
I give myself to you willingly.
Your sweet devotion never fails;
You view me with a patient heart.
You love me, dear, no matter what.
You’ve been that way right from the start.
Those are just a few reasons why
I’ll always love you like I do.
We’ll have a lifetime full of love,
And it will happen because of you.
By Joanna Fuchs

Though I love you but I still want Big present next year!!! haha

2010 WOHOO Chinese New Year

To me, Chinese New Year celebration is time to meet some old friends, siblings gathering for the reunion dinner and time for gambling! It was fun but time is always too short for us that everyone need to back for their works or studies. As we all knew, this year CNY 1 was valentines day as well. Hubbie and I had an early exchange gift on the day before CNY1.
Lacoste shirt was from me and I received 2 presents! One was for valentine and another was my my be-early 1st wedding anniversary gift.

I will be only returning back to Jordan by 1st of April, thus we will not be able to celebrate our anniversary together on March 15. I need to stay back to take care my mum for her operation which will be on 4th of March. I hope everthing will be alright and your prayers for my mum are highly appreciated!
Guess what I had for my valentine? :)
A box of Ferrero Rocher chocolate! Simple and nice, though I was hoping something special like diamonds! Haha..anyway I still love it and the sweetness of the chocolate did gave me a happy feeling.

What about the 1st Anniversary Gift?
It was I-phone!

A practical gift afterall~~ :)

Unexpected Guest in Mummy's Tummy!

Recently, I brought my parents for a body checkup. My parents use to have healthy diet and they seldom get sick as well. Anyway, I think I should bring them for a health check in case something hiding inside their body that we are not aware. Finally, my mum was found to have bilateral ovarian dermoids which is around 7cm and small uterine fibroid. I was too worry until cried out in front of the doctor but my mum was so steady and ask me not to worry. Mum will be having an operation in March to remove the lesions and I hope everything is fine. Mum do not feel any discomfort and never thought that there are lesions inside her uterus. As for papa, everything is fine. This shows that we should do a routine checkup every year to ensure our body is fine. Early detection is always better than late. Remember to bring your parents for a body check up!
My dearest mum, she is 56 this year.

Chinese New Year will be coming soon. I am not that keen to celebrate it but I am looking foward to meet my hubbie. I miss him a lot. I thought I will be "too" happy in Sandakan until I forget about him but I am wrong. I miss him day and night and would like to share every little thing with him. I thought marriage life to me is nothing special since we have been together for about 9 years before moving to the second stage, I am definitely wrong. We are like start all over again, just like pressing the reset button :)
Miss you darling, see you on the coming Thursday!
